Manfredini Stefano
Professor of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Stefano Manfredini is Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Health Products, Director of the Masters course in Cosmetic Sciences and Technology at Ferrara University. His special research interest is the degenerative processes associated with UV-induced oxidative stress, with consequent focus on natural products and their use in pharmaceutical, nutritional and cosmetic products. Manfredini is particularly experienced in the extraction, production and characterisation of natural products and the transfer of University-developed technology to the commercial sector. At Ferrara University he has several administrative and teaching responsibilities and is also the co-founder, together with Silvia Vertuani, as well as its current President, of the University spin-off Ambrosialab.
