From the Third National Observatory on Sustainable Living 2017, by LifeGate in collaboration with the Eumetra Monterosa Social, Economic and Opinion Research Institute. The findings show that women are on average more informed and active on issues related to sustainability, especially as far as for food, energy and trade sectors. 58% of women said it favored the purchase of bulk products as a solution to make cities more livable and 65% of the females surveyed supported building upgrades and switching to renewables. 22% of the respondents also claimed to consume organic foods habitually, and 30 percent avoided using the car, preferring alternative means of transport with less environmental impact, compared to 21 % of men.
