Meet the Chinese organic food market from 5 to 7 November
Held in Xiamen, in the southeast province of Fujian, the China International Organic Food Exhibition is an exclusively B2B organic-food trade show. A yearly event, this 14th edition will be held together with the China Green Food Exhibition for a total of 13,000 m2, and attracting 24,000 professional visitors, including 1,200 top buyers from China, Taiwan and the ASEAN countries.
Made-In-Italy organic food will be the centrepiece of the next edition of CIOFE, with special events highlighting Italian organic production and meetings with selected Chinese buyers.
Organic food sales in China have grown some 35% in recent years, making the country Asia’s second largest organic food market. Chinese consumers are turning increasingly to organically grown produce, which is synonymous with high quality and food safety.
E-commerce sales of organic food in China have enjoyed particularly substantial growth. In fact, the next CIOFE will feature many marketing initiatives targeting this sector.
The trade show is organized by the China Organic Food Certification Centre and co-organized by Xiamen Phenix Originality Exhibition Service Co. Ltd, in partnership with the China Green Food Development Centre and BolognaFiere SpA.
