According to a Nielsen survey people are paying more attention than ever to the environment, but there is still a gap between good intentions and concrete actions. The website “The Conversation” reviewed 320 academic articles centred on consumer behaviour and came up with five routes to shift consumers towards sustainable choices: social influence, habits, individual self, feelings and conditions, and tangibility.
SANA is also building on its commitment towards the environment. As of this year SANA’s entire foodservice area will be plastic-free, generating savings of about 10 tonnes of plastic over four days.
